Forum Title: Scraped areas not covering
Weird thing happened today. I was using 200 zero in a comercial repaint with a slight color change. I sanded walls down and scraped off any nubs that were left after sanding. All the areas i scraped did not cover. It almost looked as if i painted over silicone in those areas. After one coat you could see every place i scraped. Has that ever happened to anyone?

For example, scraping with a metal putty knife might leave dark streaks on the walls that 200 might not cover in one coat (especially with a lower hiding color). Or maybe you scraped through to an unsealed surface the shows through. I will usually run a board knife over the walls to knock off bigger nubs before sanding. That solves the streak issue, but not the unsealed surface issue.
